I love parades. I will gladly show up for a super small parade and have been known to rally through huge parades too (like the Holyoke St. Patrick’s Day parade). There are a few things you should know about me, I will ALWAYS cry when the veterans march by and I will always teach my kids to stand when the flag goes by. There are a ton of options for Western Massachusetts Memorial Day Parades 2016. No matter where in the Pioneer Valley or Western Mass you live, there is one near by.

For our family, it is important to go. Our kids LOVE the candy, but we love that they’re getting a chance to honor and remember those who served our country in the military. As a kid, I loved going to the Memorial Day parade with my grandparents. And I hope my kids take their kids someday too.

This list of Western Massachusetts Memorial Day Parades 2016 is fairly comprehensive but please double check times and locations before you head out. There is a lot of information here and I did my best to capture the ones I knew were happening, but if I’ve missed one please share the info in the comments!
