Dear summer cold- I feel you beginning to form deep in my throat and I don’t like the idea one bit. A sore throat just as the weather is starting to really get beautiful again just doesn’t seem right.

Dear friends- It was lovely to bump into you recently. It was even lovelier to hear your bigger out you that there is a littler on the way. We are thrilled for you.

Dear Todd Akin- Keep your morals and politics out of my hoo ha. My body my choice, not yours.

Dear Mother in law- Thanks for saving the day. Your generosity and gift of time went above and beyond. You helped make a terrible situation feel a lot easier to deal with.

Dear Malone- I’m not ready for you to be a preschooler yet. Well, that is a lie. Three year old you is so fun and I’m really excited for you to go to room six. I wish that I didn’t have to work full time so you could just go to part time preschool. Instead, you have to go to the preschool room at daycare. You don’t know what you are missing. But I do. Oh how I long to send you to the preschool at the farm. But logistically we just can’t make it work.

Dear Husband- I’m sorry that by the time we get Malone settled and asleep for the night that I am wiped out too. I miss the old us.

Dear friend 2- I’m sorry that we haven’t been able to see each other much lately other than just a quick hello. I know you are just as busy as I am. I miss you. I miss pouring my heart out to you and hearing you do the same.

Dear child- please don’t wake up while I write this. The 5:00 am hour is the only one that is truly mine. Too late.

Dear me- The thing about life is that it just keeps on moving whether you are ready for it or not. Things you need more of- simplicity, focus. and drive. Things you need less of- Facebook.

I’m linking up today with Shell over at Things I Can’t Say for Pour Your Heart Out.

What do you need more of?

Happy Wednesday Friends.
