The other day I heard Malone singing these lyrics while he was fighting his way through a new puzzle, a new 100+ piece one.
“Don’t you give up, even if it gets tough. Keep your head up. And don’t you quit.”
Those lyrics are from the song Jackie, which can be found on the album I am pleased to introduce you today. I have heard from you that you’re looking for artists that your kids will love and you’ll appreciate too. In the past, I’ve been able to introduce you to Mister G and Debbie & Friends. Today, it is Lucky Diaz And The Family Jam Band.
Lucky Diaz and The Family Jam Band is comprised of husband and wife team Lucky Diaz and Alisha Gaddis. In 2013, they won a Latin Grammy for their album Fantastico. Their follow up album, Lishy Loo & Lucky Too, is out of this world fun.
Lishy Loo & Lucky Too has been stuck on repeat for about a month in our house. Malone cannot get enough of their witty variety show banter and over the top child friendly jokes that happens between the songs.
Here he is in his own words, reviewing the cd.
The basebally song he’s talking about is the song about Jackie Robinson I referenced at the top of this post.
What I adore about this cd is that the music done well technically and the lyrics are catchy. The indie pop vibe leaves me smiling every time!
I received a copy of Lishy Lou & Lucky Too for review purposes but all opinions are my own. This really is great kids music. It is like A Prairie Home Companion for kids. I have also received a copy to give away. To enter, use the widget below.

Loved the CD! Now that I am a grandma I need to learn what music is fun for the little ones. Thanks for sharing. This grandma could really rock to this music!
Oh my goodness, this looks like so much fun! My son is really starting to get into music, but oh my lord if I have to listen to that nursery rhyme CD one more time I might stab my eyes out. Thanks for featuring this!

Looks like a lot of fun! I’m digging the Spanish language CD. I’m always looking for good Spanish music for the kids so they can be expose to their “Father” language.

He is absolutely adorable! I am never using any other word but “basebally” again! 🙂 So cute! I do enjoy a kid’s CD that does not feel like a kids CD, so this is perfect! :)-Ashley
