I am a Stonyfield Ambassador, and  I received compensation and product coupons in exchange for sharing information. All opinions are 100% my own.

There are times when I get to share exciting news from the companies that I partner with and today is the day!

This summer Stonyfield YoKids is partnering with AZA SAFE (American Zoological Association Saving Animals from Extinction) in order to help save the world’s most vulnerable animal species. This year’s conservation efforts will focus on 10 different species, including the adorable African Penguin. We recently saw these guys at the New England Aquarium in Boston, where my daughter promptly fell in love (here’s more about that trip).  This is exactly what Stonyfield is hoping will happen with the funds they’re contributing, that kids will get to visit zoos and aquariums where they can be educated on why we need to help save many of the world’s animals from extinction.

Stonyfield YoKids is also featuring an on-pack offer to get families out to visit any of the 131 participating AZA accredited member zoos and aquariums in their own communities Look for specially-marked YoKids yogurt multipacks, buy two and you can receive a FREE kid’s admission to you  local AZA-accredited zoo or aquarium when you also buy an adult ticket.

Stonyfield will be visiting Mystic Aquarium today, April 25, 2017 Stonyfield for World Penguin Day. Join them on Facebook Live at 12 pm EST to help give you and your children an up close and personal view of the African penguins. A trainer will be available to answer questions, show how the penguins are cared for and more.

To draw further attention to the plight of the endangered species Stonyfield has also created a series of videos that ask kids and their parents, “Can a cow save a penguin or a sea turtle or a cheetah?” The humor and heartwarming answers showcase the optimism and imagination of children, but also the need for real action to save endangered species. They will be posting videos of kids answering this question, which highlights their spontaneity and creative spirit. Click here to see those videos.
