Covering the Pioneer Valley and the 91 corridor of Western MA from the Greater Springfield to Greater Greenfield area means that there are THREE counties of fun! This is the FULL LIST of all of the events happening right here in Western Mass. You’ll note that there are a FEW Berkshire County events here, but we know that our friends at MacKid Berkshires do a great job at providing a comprehensive list.

Heritage Woods Senior Living will be hosting its annual free haunted house on Saturday. October 20th from 1 to 3 PM. Children are welcome to come dressed in their costumes or as they are! Trick or Treat in our other buildings from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

 This fun filled festival is for the whole family. Complete with pumpkin painting, hayrides, bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, a firetruck and an outdoor movie. Trunk or Treat, Fountain Park, Wilbraham

Hosted by Fountain Park & Wilbraham Children’s Museum. We are hoping for a repeat of last year’s amazing event! This year, we welcome the Wilbraham Fire and Police Departments — our kiddos will get a chance to get to know these incredible parts of our community and play some fun games!

This is an allergy-friendly event – we will have candy AND non-food treats!!

Trick or Treat at Eastfield Mall-oween,  Eastfield Mall, Springfield

The evening kicksoff with a mall-wide trick-or-treat thru a variety of participating mall merchants as well as community volunteer tables. Then our famous costume contest begins in Center Court at 6 pm. Mix 93.1’s own Chris Zito will be our MC! A panel of local celebrities choose the winners among the 3 age groups! Rag Shag Parade, Easthampton

The 2018 Rag Shag Parade will start at Maple Street School. Parade starts at 6:30pm sharp and ends at the Easthampton Savings Banks parking lot. Dress up in Halloween costumes and collect a bag of candy at the end, and sometimes along the way! A fun family tradition that has been going on forever. Hope to see you there! Rain Date is 10/25.

Friday October 26, 2018

Stockbridge Halloween Parade & Walkabout

Marchers will meet at the corner of Main & Pine Street at 6:00 PM and march up Main Street to the Stockbridge Town Offices for cider & donuts. After the party, take a walk-about outside the Stockbridge Library and see lighted pumpkins carved by local businesses and area children. Spooky stories and more fun treat (or tricks??) will be offered inside. Children interested in showcasing a Jack O’Lantern of their own, should drop them off at the library between 5 & 6 PM (they will light them). You may take them home at the end of the evening.

In case of rain the parade is cancelled. Events will continue in the Library. More info.

Ludlow Rag Shag, Trunk or Treat & Halloween Carnival

Come one, come all to Rag Shag! Admission to this event is FREE! Trunk or Treat will take place in the front parking lot with decorated vehicles and candy for kids. The carnival inside the Club will host free crafts, goodie bags, games, tattoos, and music by DJ Donnie. For an additional cost, food from the 99 Restaurant will be available. Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item to be donated. More info.

Trunk or Treat: New Life Church, East Longmeadow

Trunk or Treat! We will have candy, games, a safe environment, photo booth, hay ride, and fun for the whole Family!  One thing we are doing differently this year is asking if you can bring a Thanksgiving Non-Perishable as a donation such as a caned good or stuffing we will be giving all of those donations to the local food pantry (this is NOT required for attendance)!

Halloween is here! Celebrate this fang-tastic holiday at Holyoke Mall’s Kids Club Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday, October 27th, from 11:00 am-12:30 pm on the Lower Level in Sears Court. Wear your costume for trick-or-treating throughout the village, and learn how Shakers celebrated Halloween…if you dare. Expect ghost stories and fortune telling. Cummington Rag Shag Parade & Trick or Treat

Join us at the Gazebo at 5pm to view all the amazing costumes our friends and neighbors have come up with this year!! Children will each receive a trick or treat bag with goodies inside! Rag Shag Parade and Trick or Treating down Main St. to follow until 8pm. We are also adding Trunk or Treat this year, which is open to Cummington residents who do not live on Main St. but would still like to partake in the fun!   • Halloween in Grinch Night, 3 pm: When you’re done Trick or Treating stick around for this Emmy-award winning cartoon special written by Dr. Seuss!

Trunk or Treat, Hampden

Welcome to our 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat! Children come dressed in your Halloween costumes as you go trick-or-treating from car to car. Don’t forget to stop and play some fun ghoulish games. This is a safe, fun and free event. More info.

Spooky Safari at The Zoo at  Forest Park, Springfield

With the leaves beginning to fall and the animals starting their hibernation rituals, The Zoo is getting ready for this year’s SPOOKY SAFARI – a spooky (but not too spooky) day of fun for ALL AGES. Each year, hundreds of children and families come to Spooky Safari to kick off Halloween, visiting with our 150 animals, trick-or-treating down the candy trail, decorating pumpkins, playing games, and participating in a costume contest. This year’s Spooky Safari will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
