One of the local non profits that is near and dear to my heart is Safe Passage based in Northampton, MA. We’ve ran in their 5k fundraising race, The Hot Chocolate Run for for many years. This past year, Malone ran the entire 5k with at 12:00 minute pace and ended up finishing before about 50% of the adults.

Northampton MA Safe Passage Mike and Malone

Safe Passage provides women with the support and information that they need in order to make their own choices to keep themselves and their children safe and to rebuild their lives in the wake of domestic violence.  Their comprehensive services include shelter, peer-support, counseling, education, advocacy, legal support and community education. And they primarily serve women and children in Hampshire County of Western Massachusetts.

Lola and I are nominating Safe Passage’s wishlist to receive a $2000.00 grant from Huggies. One thing that is always on their wish list is diapers and other baby supplies.

We've nominated Safe Passage based in Northampton MA for a grant from Huggies

These Huggies Snug & Dry Ultra Diapers offer long-lasting leakage protection you can count on, so you can focus on all of your baby’s daily adventures. The range of sizes fit babies from newborn to 35 lbs. Only Huggies Snug & Dry Ultra Diapers have a new, unique quilted liner to lock away wetness better.

We were given the opportunity to put these to the test. Lola is a heavy night time wetter and often wakes up soaked in the diapers of our other brand. The Leak Lock® System has quick-absorbing layers for up to 12 hours of protection. These really worked well for us and stood the test!

From April 20th until June 25th, Huggies will be accepting all selfies of you and your baby with the hashtag #UltraHug, and featuring them in a collage on the campaign landing page. On July 6th, voting will begin to narrow down the 20 finalists to 10 winners who will win a $2,000 grant from Huggies for their nominated community initiative.
