Mummy Pizza

My kids were so impressed when I made this easy mummy pizza! I have to say, I was impressed with myself too! Halloween is such a busy time around here! There are so many awesome events in Western MA that we love checking out. The festivities start mid October and run through Halloween night. That means there is a lot of trick or treating happening here at Team A Cookie Before Dinner.

This recipe for mummy pizza is so easy, it will scare you! And there is a good chance that you’ve got everything you need at home! and if you don’t the shopping list is super simple.

Mummy Pizza Ingredients:

• 1 frozen pepperoni pizza
• 2 sliced olives for eyes
• 4 to 5 string cheese sticks

Impress your kids with this easy recipe for mummy pizza!

To begin your mummy pizza, you’ll need to rearrange the pepperoni on your frozen pizza. Make 4 “bunches” on the lower three quarters of the pizza, reserving the top quarter for your mummy face. You also want to reserve two slices of pepperoni for the eyes.

Next, take strings of string cheese and lay them flat. Don’t worry about perfection here. You’re making a mummy pizza, and I’ve never seen a perfectly symmetrical mummy. You can have some thin strings and some thick stings.

After you’ve got your mummy foundation laid, lay additional strings of string cheese in the opposite direction. You laid strings horizontally first, now lay some vertically, but angled. Repeat this step until you’ve run out of string cheese or you’re happy with your mummy’s look. Then, lay your two pieces of pepperoni down for your mummy pizza’s eyes and layer two olives on top for your mummy’s eye balls.

Bake according to your frozen pizza’s directions.
