Hello reality! We spent an extra long holiday weekend in Philadelphia with my in laws. The transition back to real life has been a bit hectic. Why do I always feel like I need a vacation when I return from vacation? Probably because I’m a mom. Vacations are hard work!
Hello post vacation laundry. I suppose you’re not going to fold yourself are you? A special thanks to my amazing husband who pushed it all through the washer and dryer when we got home last night. The folding elves didn’t show up though.
Hello photos! Hello camera full of memories. Anyone seen my camera cord? Ugh. Hello family photos. Dear photographer. Hurry up and post a teaser! I know she got some amazing shots.
Hello refrigerator full of food. I did not like grocery shopping last night as soon as I got home however. Hello to a renewed interest to treat my body better by feeding it yummy foods. Hello salad. Hello beets. Yum!
Hello winter holidays! We put our tree up before we left. I have to keep reminding myself to slow down and enjoy the season. I want to do everything and I want to do it right now! Christianity is our religion but we have Jewish friends. Hello Chanukah. Hello latkes, gelt, and dreidel. We also friends who celebrate Solstice. Hello Winter!
How was your long weekend (if you had one)? What are you saying hello to today?
I’m linking up today with Lisa Leonard. Click on over to read what others are saying hello to today.
Thanks for the visit over to my blog and stopping in to leave a comment. I can remember so many vacations where the suitcase sat unpacked for quite some time after returning home from vacation. What is it about unpacking!?
I was a little OCD about unpacking. Only because on our last trip our suitcases didn’t get unpacked for close to a month. Thanks for stopping by!
Yes. Vacations always do seem like a lot of work. Hope this week is relaxing for you.
Thanks for visiting The Domestic Fringe! Hope you’ll be back.

Things are already getting back to normal here. Malone really thrives on routine so getting back to it yesterday was great for all parties. I got SO MUCH done while he napped!
I said hello to a huge pile of holiday leftover laundry last night, and I folded for AN HOUR. I feel your pain!
Stopping by from Hello Monday 🙂

Thankfully the laundry pile wasn’t huge. We did two loads while we were in Philly! What do you do while you fold it? I usually listen to a podcast. Thanks for stopping by!
