Monday are you really here again? This Monday seems extra special since it is the Monday before Thanksgiving! I’m linking up again today with Lisa Leonard and her Hello Monday series.
Hello planning, packing and organizing. We have a very strict family rule for Christmas- we don’t travel outside of our area code. Which means we don’t see any of our relatives since we all live so far away. But we almost always travel for Thanksgiving.
Hello cleaning. There is nothing better than coming home from a long trip to a clean house. Which means we have to clean it before we go!
Hello creative meals. We are in C.O.R.N (clean out refrigerator night) mode here with all of our meals since there is no point in getting groceries this week. Soup for breakfast? You got it. Scrambled eggs as a snack? No problem!
Hello family time! I can’t wait to see my nephew, brother in law, sister in law, and mother in law. We live a three hour ride from my mother in law and a five hour ride from my brother in law and his family. Getting to all be together in the same space at the same time is a BIG DEAL. The boys are six months a part and have a blast together and the adults always have fun playing games, playing with the kids, and watching movies.
Hello Thanksgiving Day! I can’t wait to watch the parade with Malone & Andrew (my nephew), eat turkey, and indulge in dessert. We always end up with tons of leftovers that make perfect turkey/stuffing/cranberry sauce sandwiches.
Hello Valley Forge, cheese steak, and Liberty Bell.
What are your Thanksgiving plans?
Hi! I had to laugh at your C.O.R.N. mode. I can totally relate–we’ve had some rather odd meals in the effort to use up our food. 🙂 Have a good Thanksgiving!

Haha. My mom made the term famous in our house. I remember growing up thinking it was normal to eat spaghetti for breakfast right before leaving for vacation…
I will have to steal CORN!! Valley Forge for Thanksgiving sounds great! I loved your pictures. We drove up to my parents in Albany, as always. Thanksgiving is my mom’s holiday!

My mom would be so happy that you stole CORN to use. She was a genius!
