October 24: Rag Shag Parade, Easthampton

The 2018 Rag Shag Parade will start at Maple Street School. Parade starts at 6:30pm sharp and ends at the Easthampton Savings Banks parking lot. Dress up in Halloween costumes and collect a bag of candy at the end, and sometimes along the way! A fun family tradition that has been going on forever. Hope to see you there! Rain Date is 10/25.

October 28: Trick or Treat, Downtown Amherst

Are you excited for Halloween? Us too! On the Sunday before Halloween, join us in your scariest, goofiest, and/or funniest costumes to “Trick or Treat” the local storefronts in Downtown Amherst. We’ll have a costume parade shortly thereafter as well as a “Haunted House: Pharaoh’s Tomb” attraction and select Carnival Games hosted at the Bangs Community Center.

The event starts with Trick or Treating at 12:00pm noon in Downtown Amherst. All ages welcome! More info.

 October 31: Northampton Parents Center Halloween Party & Parade

During our regular playgroup hours we’ll have festive Halloween snacks and crafts and a short Parade around half of the block. Parents and children are welcome to come in costume, or children can borrow from our collection of dress-up clothes for the morning! Happy Halloween!

Snack guidelines: no nuts please! We welcome festive snack donations of fruit or baked goods, cider, donuts, pumpkin bread, banana bread, or muffins. More info.

October 31: Florence Rag Shag Parade, Florence, MA

Florence Rag Shag, Florence, MA The annual Rag Shag Parade will be stepping off from Trinity Row Park on the corner of Main & South Main St. at 6:00. RT 9 (Main St) Will be closed at this time for the parade to march to the Florence Civic & Business Center where kids can pick up a goody bag. Gathering at Trinity Row will start around 5pm, Judging at 5:30, Parade Steps off at 6:00. Rain or shine.

Join the Downtown Northampton Association for the annual Downtown Trick or Treat! Look for orange and teal posters in the windows of participating stores, and stop by with your little ones to trick or treat. And while you’re downtown, head over to the Northampton Senior Center on Conz Street for their first-ever Trunk or Treat! More info.
