Do you have that one person in your life that is super hard to buy for? Either they already have everything they need or they’ve got too much of everything they need? Or maybe they’re the type who just go ahead and buy themselves what they need or want when they need it. I have a few people in my life like that and let me tell you, it is so hard to shop for them for the holidays!

In situations like these, I try to either go one of two ways for gift giving… either something consumable that’s also special or a donation to their favorite charity.

Recently, I had a chance to try Gather Chocolate by Harbor Sweets and let me tell you, they’re my new go to for the tricky to gift for.

Here’s why. They’re special. I know a great box of chocolate when I see one. What I love about this one is that the flavor  is interesting and the quality is out of this world.

Each box of Gather contains honey infused chocolates… dark chocolate.

Gather chocolates by harbor sweets

  • Caramelized Honey truffle
  • Pomegranate Molasses truffle
  • Sour Cherry truffle
  • Cashew Caramel Coconut Cluster
  • Sesame Crunch

The 6 piece box retails for $12.50 and the 12 piece box retails for $18.5o.

But this one also has a special purpose.

Gather is mission driven chocolate inspired by the plight of the honeybees. And a portion of each sale (2.5 %) will be donated to the Pollinator Partnership (they’re a 501c# NGO that educates and advocates best beekeeping practices for honeybee protection).

Located in Salem, Massachusetts, Harbor Sweets produces handcrafted artisan chocolates from its original historic red brick building at 85 Leavitt Street. Harbor Sweets and Gather Chocolate are sold at high end gourmet grocers and gift shops.  Order them online or by calling (800) 243-2115.
