I can’t believe how early Easter is this year! If there is one thing my family loves, it is a great Easter Egg Hunt! There are so many great Easter Egg Hunts in Western MA, I thought it would be fun to put together a list for you! I know that I ALWAYS have a hard time finding this information.

Saturday March 19 2016

Westfield at the South Middle School Grounds

  • Address: 30 West Silver St, Westfield MA
  • Time: 1:00 pm

  • Hosted by:  City of Westfield, Westfield Boys & Girls Club, Amelia Skate Park and Amelia Children’s Museum.
  • What you need to know: Line up for the egg hunt will begin at 1:00 PM and the egg hunt will begin promptly at 1:15 PM. The Easter Bunny will arrive at 1:30PM. In case of rain the egg hunt will be held on Saturday, March 26th, at 1:00 PM. More info is available here. 

Amherst at Atkins Market

  • What you need to know: This egg hunt is first come first served, with a rolling start every 10 minutes. Expect to wait and bring your own basket. Atkins is also hosting a photo charity event with Jaime’s Photography. FREE PHOTO with the Easter Bunny with the donation of two canned goods (or $3.00 donation). Easthampton at Daley Field

  • What you need to know: The Easter Bunny will arrive on a fire truck to start the hunt. There is a special section for children 4 years old and under, who may be accompanied by their parents onto the field. There are 18,000 eggs with hundreds of prize eggs. Bring your camera, there are photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny available.

Hadley at Hadley Elementary School

The children will be divided into three color-coded age groups, Yellow for 2 years and under, Pink for 3 to 4 years and Purple for 5 to 7 years old. Each age group will have a separate section to partake in their hunt for candy filled eggs. Please look for your child’s age grouping color. Redeem for a prize under the white tent. Prizes donated by Northampton Wal-Mart. Age groups are separated into various sections in the Park, with the following time frames.   • What you need to know: Holyoke Parks and Recreation and Mayor Morse invite the community to join them for their 2016 Spring Celebration and Easter egg hunt at Holyoke Heritage State Park. This family friendly event includes: Easter egg hunts for four age groups, great prizes, face painting, gift bags, pony rides, craft stations and of course a chance to meet the Easter Bunny. The Merry Go Round and the Children’s Museum will also be open!  You must register at least one hour prior to your scheduled egg hunt. Registration begins at 9:00 am. All registrations will happen on site, that morning at Holyoke Heritage State Park.  If you have any questions please call the Parks & Recreation Department at (413) 322-5620.
