The scales were tipped to heavily for me in August and I lost the balance between personal essays & thoughts, great content that was just mine own to share with you, and sponsored content. I’m sorry for that guys. I will still keep some sponsored content, because running a blog does cost money. However, I am also going to mix things up with posts like this- things that come straight from my heart and give you a peek into my world. There are some affiliate links in this post, which means that if you click through and buy something, I may receive a very small (ahem, pennies) commission on your purchase.
Currently… September 2015
….reading Nothing. I just finished up a great Amish romance (that I’ve already forgotten the name to) and haven’t been back to the library to pick up something new. I saw someone else reading A Royal We on Instagram and it looks cute. That’s next!
…trying to get all of the things done. We’re moving to a new house in town a week from today. Chaos is a good word for life right now.
…eating with freedom. This summer my chains of food addiction were broken by The Lord and it has been just awesome to not be 100% obsessed with food 100% of my days.
…pinning inspiration for my new living room/dining room. It is one huge open room and I need A LOT of help figuring out how to use the space.
…Instagramming about chasing a sweet life well lived. If you really want to get to know my heart, I leave a lot of it on Insta. Follow me at @acookieb4dinner.
…going through all the things. This week is operation declutter and nothing is safe. So far, I’ve sent 10 trash bags to Savers (like Goodwill) and have four huge bags of baby clothes for friends.
…discovering the world through two year old Lola’s eyes. Everything is fresh and new with her- it is just so fun!
…enjoying the hints that fall is just around the corner. It’s been super hot during the day, but the leaves on my street are turning and the nights are getting cooler. Fall in New England is my favorite.
…thinking about the power of prayer. Mike and I saw War Room and both of us walked out of the movie theater changed.
…feeling all of the feels about moving out of our neighborhood. We’ve invested seven years here and know/love our neighbors like family.
…hoping for a smooth transition into our new house. I can’t wait to share the space with you guys. It is just about the cutest place I’ve ever seen!
…listening to my children run laps around each other. Malone and Lola fell in love with each other as siblings and friends this summer- and it has been the sweetest thing ever.
…thanking God for his faithfulness to my family.
…starting to pack. The end of the month (and our move) will be here sooner than I know it!
