If you have been in the blog world for any amount of time, then you know what a major player Pinterest can be. It a great place to find new recipes and creative ideas for home decor. It is also a place that has potential to drive a lot of traffic to your blog. A post I wrote in December of 2012 drove over 3000 people to my blog this past holiday season. It was a great idea that met a need a lot of people have during the holiday season- preschool stocking stuffer ideas.
The thing about Pinterest is that you need other people to help pin your things. I am thrilled to be this week’s co-host for the Blogger Brags Weekly Pinterest Party. Because of Rabia and her great Ask Away Friday Question I finished a post that had been sitting in my draft folder forever. I linked that post up last week, and it was one of the most clicked on.

Pinterest can be so hard sometimes. I’ve been trying to have a decent mix of pinnable content and things i just want to write about. I try to have ONE pinnable post a week, and that is enough for me!
This is a great idea!! If you do it again, I’ll have to join in! I’m somewhat new to the blogging world, but I’ve heard Pinterest can be your biggest “advertisement”.
