Summer is just about here…. can you believe it? My kids have just a few days of school left and then we’re attacking our time together like we mean it. We plan to have a lot of local adventures, a few vacations and lots of time at home to just be free range. I’m not sure who is more excited about it…. me or them!
I, like the rest of the world, went through the Konmari process this spring. I ended up clearing the closets and donating just about all of my clothes. It feels good to be left with the best- the work horse pieces that I feel great in when I wear. The one thing I was missing was a little black dress. I didn’t donate the old one and I’m glad I did. Just last week we had a funeral to unexpectedly attend…I was glad it was still hanging in my closet.
My requirements for a new LBD were simple. I needed to fit into my every day life as much as it could fit into my fancy life. We spend a lot of time at Six Flags and out exploring our local parks. I wanted something that could rock those hot summer days but could also be dressed up for casual date nights and fancy occasions.
Because, from time to time my job as a blogger presents me with opportunities to get dressy and mingle with grown ups…. Like these guys I got to interview a few weeks ago…

I have found my dress and I am in love. Meet Quinn… from prAna.

My dress search is officially over. Having in my closet is a no brainer… the other thing that’s a no brainer is having Stonyfield Yogurt for breakfast. At this point, I’ve tried just about all of them, but this one is my favorite.
I also really love the plain whole milk yogurt… spoiler alert, it’s great in place of sour cream!
