It’s that time of year again! There are so many great Easter Egg Hunts happening in the Pioneer Valley of Western MA. Here’s a listing of the ones I found! Which one will you be going to?

Saturday April 8 Pioneer Valley Easter Egg Hunts 2017

Daley Field, Easthampton, MA

  • What you need to know: 18,000 eggs to be collected for children 10 and under. Children under 4 have their own special section. There are tons of prize eggs! More info here. 

Yankee Candle, South Deerfield

  • What you need to know: Fill a basket for your neighbors, too! Bring non-perishable food for theThe Food Bank of Western MA, and you’ll receive a FREE Car Jar air freshener. Bring your most festive Easter hat- or make your own for FREE at our crafting station, starting at 10am. 10am–noon: Paint a free wooden egg to take home. (while supplies last) Noon: Hat Parade! Prizes will be awarded, so the more creative and wild your hat is, the better. 1pm: Egg Hunt in the Courtyard— bring your own basket. For up to date information click here. 

Atkins Farm Country Market, South Amherst

  • What you need to know: Each child will have their own “stall” to hunt in, so it is fair for the little ones.  Bring your own basket. This event is for kids 12 and under. There will be several hunts throughout the three hours, so expect a wait. First come, first served .Don’t forget to bring your camera, so you can take a picture with the Easter Bunny. There will be live bunnies from Friendly Hoppers Bunny Rescue also!  This event is weather permitting.  More info here. 

Sarah Jane Sherman Park, Chicopee

  • What you need to know:  Age-cordoned areas of the Church grounds will be monitored and carefully curated prior to the start of the event: 0-5, 6-8, & 9-13 year old spaces. Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes early so we can run through specifics to ensure a fun time for everyone. With only a few *Prize Eggs* hidden throughout the area, competition can be fierce.   • What you need to know: This years egg hunt event will include over 10,000 eggs that contain either candy or a small toy. The 2 & under division will receive a snack after the egg hunt, rather than candy. Each age group will have 2 golden tickets hidden in the eggs. Redeem for a prize under the white tent. Prizes donated by Northampton Wal-Mart. Age groups are separated into various sections in the Park, with the following time frames. You will receive a map when you enter the Park, and signs will be posted for the areas.

Holyoke Heritage State Park, Holyoke, MA

  • What you need to know:  This family friendly event includes: Easter egg hunts for four age groups, great prizes, face painting, gift bags and a t-shirt decorating station (t shirts and gift bags included for the first 500 children), pony rides, craft stations and of course a chance to meet the Easter Bunny! You must register at least one hour prior to your scheduled egg hunt. Registration begins at 9:00 am. All registrations will happen on site, that morning at Holyoke Heritage State Park.  The park is located at .  If you have any questions please call the Parks & Recreation Department at .
